Class of 1987 alumna Lesley Forde Cancino‘s life long bonds that she made at Trafalgar Castle School during Grades 12 and 13 — especially with her roommate-turned-dear-friend — inspired her to open her home to young women who had aged out of foster care in the Bahamas. Class of 1990 alumna Shaney Crawford’s career journey has taken her from Trafalgar Castle School to a boarding school in England, to teaching in Japan, back to Canada and finally to Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan to become the Head of Tsukuba International School. A Trafalgar Castle School Boarding Student from Mexico in 2001-2002,  Andrea Jimenez Garcia  is currently a Staff Research Associate at the University of California, Los Angeles’ (UCLA) Department of Medicine, working in the area of immunization and how t-cells split and attack cancer cells.  Read more about how Trafalgar gave Andrea the freedom to explore new things and discover what she excelled at.

Class of 1973 alumna and Prefect Rev. Susan McAllister (nee Bennett) has been the Minister of the Princess Street United Church in Kingston for the past nine year. She also serves on the Board of the YMCA of Eastern Ontario, in addition to being a volunteer group fitness and yoga instructor. Read more about how Rev. Class of 1988 alumna Eva Lau is a co-founder of Two Small Fish Ventures and a member of the Trafalgar Foundation Board of Directors. A Grade 12 boarding student at Trafalgar, Eva’s curiosity, drive and passion haven’t slowed since. She was one of the founding team members of Canada’s most successful tech companies, Wattpad, and is one of the few women to lead a venture fund in Canada. Class of 1987 alumna Lynn Maxwell is the Chief Commercial Officer at S&P Global in London, England. Read more about how Lynn’s career journey began in Financial Law and transitioned to investment banking – opening doors to many opportunities.

Class of 1985 alumna and Head Girl Michelle Charles (nee Ou Wai) has dedicated her life to helping children and adults. First as a teacher and Vice-Principal at the Toronto District School Board and as Director of International Outreach and Training at Neuro-development of Words – NOW! Company. Class of 2015 alumna Dr. Nabeela Bhaloo is completing her Paediatric Residency in London, England. Class of 2008 alumna Genevieve (Evie) Begy is the General Manager of The Kit and Managing Director of Sales. In July 2023, Evie was named one of the Peak’s Emerging Leaders shaping Canada’s economy, culture and society in Sales, Marketing and Advertising. Class of 2015 alumna and Head Prefect Megan MacKay is the Director of Partnership Development at Oak View Group Canada (OVG), a sports and entertainment agency that specializes in venue development, third party partnerships sales and brand consulting in Canada. A Trafalgar Castle School Boarding Student in 2001-2002, Maria Fernanda Azcárraga attended Trafalgar for Grade 11. Today, she lives and works in Mexico as an independent travel agent and runs her own business teaching Spanish and English language classes.
